As a participant in our studies, you will be able to park for free at the University of Auckland. The new car park is between Symond Street Early Childhood Centre and Wellesley Street Bridge, Auckland Central, and is accessed by a driveway to the right of the Early Childhood Centre. The address is 26a Symonds St. You may wish to use Google Maps to find directions from your address to the car park (or see below). I have attached a photo of what this car park looks like from the road and a map with the driveway marked in red to help you find the entrance.
An ELLA member will meet you at the entrance of the driveway when you arrive. We will direct you to the School of Psychology reserved car parks (marked CP), and give you a parking permit to place in your windshield.
When you’re ready, we’ll walk you up to our centre. If you arrive early, please feel free to park in any of the open spaces marked CP.
Once we have completed the session, we will walk you back down to your car and collect our parking permit.
